What is Community Organisations Regional Network (CORN)
CORN is a regional network of community organisations in seven
SADC countries, Angola, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa,
Zambia and Zimbabwe. The focus of CORN is on rural communities. It is a
support group of knowledge management organisations that have
substantial experience in development issues. Its aim is to
provide leadership, guidance and direction to the communities
already organised into Community Based Organisations (CBO) networks. CORN seeks to be the
interface between activities on the ground and policy at
government level, which ultimately have an effect on
development activities.
